Day Six

Good Morning!

I was so tired last night that I didn’t get a chance to post anything. Yesterday was amazing! We saw Beacon Hill Park, a park that’s located right here in the city. It was so beautiful, words cannot describe! The trees and plants were massive!!

They also had the huge lake in the middle of the park with this beautiful old stone bridge going over it.

After the park we went to Chinatown, it’s the oldest in the country.

Kelly and I had a fantastic meeting with a Victoria City Council member to talk about the potential mobile food truck business opportunities. A local newspaper reporter also was there to do a story on this. How cool is it to go on vacation and end up being in the local paper!

The evening was so calm and clear that we decided to go back to Dallas Road for an even better view of the ocean and mountains. We also walked along the breakwater. Amazing!

We ended the evening by going back to Willows Beach and seeing this:

This is Mount Baker, a dormant volcano in Northern Washington… spectacular!!

Today we’re off to drive the “Pacific Marine Circle Route”. See the website on the right hand column for more details.
